People thought I was foolish to drive across the country by myself in the middle of winter in a polka dot Miata. To the naysayers, I am pleased to report that the trip was uneventful. If you don't count the semi truck with the helicopter on top that I ran off the road with my 5 pound car.
At least that's what the cop told me.
And I am now in Seattle, city of many friends, fabulous food, and with any luck a happy future. My good friend D and I have finally achieved our goal of living in the same city at the same time, and being single at the same time. Yay for us. This city is in a lot of trouble.
